About Us > Capital Improvements

The Thomson Club is managed by a member-elected Board of Directors. The Board strives to have directors who are members that understand and appreciate the history of the club. Our Board also has younger Directors who bring a youthful perspective to the club. This perspective helps to attract and retain more younger members which is so important to the future of any club. The Board is highly motivated, professional and very atuned to the needs of the club.

Since 2012, the Board, always with member input, has developed and implemented three major capital improvement programs. Before proceeding, the Board has asked for membership approval via a formal vote. With the success building on succees, each project has been improved. Two are completed and the third is in progress.

Below is an overview of what has been done and what is forthcoming.
